“Ho Chi Minh City is an extraordinary place, and every year more and more foreigners are deciding to leave their own countries and make a new life here in Vietnam. But Saigon is also a difficult city for foreigners to understand, and there isn’t enough information about it in other languages to help people adjust to their new lives here. We’re going to fix that, and we need you to play a big part in helping us!

For a new project, our firm is preparing an online guide about life in Ho Chi Minh City to help foreigners based in this city. We need detailed information about everything that could help a foreigner to survive here.

As a freelancer with our company, you’ll be given a series of detailed article descriptions, telling you exactly what topic you’ll need to research and prepare. Following the instructions, you’ll search Vietnamese and English information online and make any necessary phone calls, find the answers to the questions asked in the article description, and write a draft article for submission.

Your draft will be reviewed by the Chief Editor and rewritten in standard English - so you don’t need to worry about perfect grammar and spelling. In the case that you have perfect researching skill, but not so perfect English skill, we also except Vietnamese information drafts. These drafts will be translated and rewritten in standard English by our editor. All you need to do is find the information and organise the article in draft form.

In short, you will be preparing a rich, detailed guide to Ho Chi Minh City that will be translated into English, Japanese, Korean, French, and other languages too – and you’ll be directly working with foreigners to make that happen. You will be taking this beautiful city and representing it online. This is certainly a position to be proud of. Your guide to Saigon will be something that all foreigners here will know about and use daily.

We’ll start on a one month trial basis, and you can work from home (or in a café if you like). There will be a potential to expand your responsibilities based on your performance and the quality of the research you do.
